Nicky Bell
I live in the heart of a Devon market town community with my teenage daughter and partner. Originally from London, I moved to devon 20 years to raise my family and am a committed member of my community.
Drawing on life experience, community work, and personal development practice, my interest in counselling support for women deepened during my mid-thirties whilst working in a non-counselling capacity with the bereaved. I have worked as a co-facilitator for Eyeshine, inspiring group-play within families in nature, as well as growing a private practice. I expanded my practice in working closely with The Green funeral Company as their in-house counsellor, and as an associate counselling consultant with The Big Blue. I have extensive experience working with individuals and families.
Out side of my work I love sharing time with my family and friends, painting, cooking, walking the cliffs by the sea with our dog and dancing in many forms. I believe deeply in the restorative powers of nature and endeavour to keep in touch with the adventurous spirit it inspires in me.
